A short documentary was made to follow the creative process and the work that went into making it. Shota Nakama and his orchestra, the Video Game Orchestra, are renowned for recording the orchestral parts of the soundtracks for Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Metal Gear Solid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block-heading--v2 stk-block stk-a120aa1\" id=\"behind-the-scenes-the-journey-of-recording-em-mages-of-mystralia-em-s-soundtrack\" data-block-id=\"a120aa1\"><h2 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">Behind the Scenes: The Journey of Recording <em>Mages of Mystralia<\/em>\u2019s Soundtrack<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019aventure a commenc\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce au contact d\u2019Antoine avec Falk Au Yeong, le mixeur sonore de SoundtRec, par l\u2019entremise d\u2019un forum de gaming (NeoGAF). Ce dernier a mis Antoine en contact avec Shota, qui apr\u00e8s avoir entendu quelques pi\u00e8ces de la bande sonore, a imm\u00e9diatement d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019embarquer dans le projet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Antoine Vachon :&nbsp;<\/strong><br><em>\u201cCe voyage \u00e0 Boston m\u2019a demand\u00e9 beaucoup d\u2019heures de pr\u00e9paration, mais cela en a valu la peine puisque j\u2019y ai pass\u00e9 un des plus beaux moments de ma vie. C\u2019\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re fois que j\u2019avais la chance de travailler avec un orchestre pour enregistrer ma musique. Shota et l\u2019orchestre ont fait un travail incroyable pour rendre mes compositions plus vivantes et dynamiques. \u00c7a a \u00e9t\u00e9 une exp\u00e9rience marquante tant sur le plan artistique que sur le plan humain. Je suis chanceux d\u2019avoir pu assister \u00e0 cet enregistrement. Voir Antoine triper autant \u00e9tait pour moi un beau moment, m\u00eame si je ne comprenais pas ce qui se passait la plupart du temps ! Je ne suis ni musicien ni compositeur, j'ai donc un \u0153il externe par rapport \u00e0 tout ce processus. J\u2019ai eu la chair de poule quand j\u2019ai entendu les musiciens jouer la musique de Mages of Mystralia sur laquelle Antoine travaille depuis plus de 2 ans. J\u2019ai vraiment \u00e9t\u00e9 un spectateur privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 ! Finalement, il est important de souligner la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 de Shota qui nous a amen\u00e9 dans de tr\u00e8s bons restaurants. Nous avons pass\u00e9 une fin de semaine inoubliable gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la gang de SoundtRec et du Video Game Orchestra.
