Borealys Games
Echoes of Mystralia performed with magic at the 2024 Events.
Over this Summer, our team had the incredible opportunity to attend three of the world’s most renowned gaming events: Gamescom (Germany), PAX West (United States), and the Tokyo Game Show (Japan).
This was the perfect time for us to finally reveal the new game we have been working on: Echoes of Mystralia. We brought our latest opus, to showcase it directly to the gaming community. It was very important for us to attend these events not only to introduce Echoes of Mystralia to a global audience but to also connect with passionate gamers who are at the heart of everything we do.
Reveal Party at Montreal
We had a reveal party in our office with pizza and drinks in order to gather as a team and watch the Future Game Show together.
Some of our coworkers are living abroad or pretty far from the office so they shared with us at-a-distance. We had a blast watching our reveal together and we hope to share a lot of more moments like this with the community!
We won a little acknowledgement during PAX West as the best Saturday Game played during the Event and it makes us very happy!
Prior to the reveal, we’ve done a private playtest of the game and also wanted to create a unique opportunity for players to experience the magic of Mystralia firsthand by putting the game into their hands. Seeing their reactions, hearing their thoughts, and discussing their gameplay experiences face-to-face was both delighting and incredibly valuable.
Our team is more excited than ever about the project. We are thankful for the support and enthusiasm we’ve received.
Your Feedback
We truly believe that players’ feedback will bring Echoes of Mystralia to new heights, and we can’t wait to implement the ideas and adjustments inspired by the community.
Thank you to everyone who came to see or visit us at these events—your input will be key as we continue to develop our brand new roguelite action-RPG adventure! Meeting so many excited faces/players/fans was incredibly invigorating for us.
We will have more playtests in the near future and we can’t wait to share this moment with you!
While our time at Gamescom, PAX West, and the Tokyo Game Show was a resounding success, we did encounter a small issue. Unfortunately, one of our computers experienced a technical glitch that required it to be completely wiped, and as a result, we lost some email addresses from players who signed up for our newsletter.
We highly value everyone’s support and don’t want anyone to miss out on important updates and future opportunities. If you signed up for the newsletter but haven’t received any communication from us, we kindly ask that you resubscribe right here:
Your involvement means the world to us, and we want to keep you informed about the exciting developments still to come.
In the following months, we are planning more playtests sessions for Echoes of Mystralia, and we will be relying on gamers like you to help us make the best game possible. Your feedback will continue to play a crucial role in shaping the final product, and we’re counting on the community to step up once again when the time comes.
Keep an eye out for announcements—your next chance to explore the magical world of Mystralia is just around the corner! ✨
